Our Sonoma County inventory is constantly evolving based on the logs we recycle. The species we mill are: Acacia, Ash, Cedar, Claro Walnut, Cottonwood, Cypress, Elm, Ironbark Eucalyptus, Maple, Poplar, Redwood, Sycamore.

What species of wood should we use for our project?

Knowing what type of finished look you desire helps narrow down the list, as each species has different color tones and undertones as well as a different level of hardness. How hard or soft the wood is should be considered when deciding on the proper finish and application of the material.

Do you cut these trees down for lumber?

Absolutely not! We never cut for timber value! All of the lumber we mill is from “Second Life Logs” We responsibly recycle trees that were deemed hazardous or that fell over. Sustainability and respect for Mother Nature are our core values.
